QA Crew Leader

• The primary role of the QA Crew Leader is to assist the QA Supervisors in implementing and
  monitoring of all Food Quality and the Food Safety Program. This includes but not limited to:
  • Teaching and Directing the QA Crew Leaders in their role. This includes assisting and
    training of the QA Techs in monitoring all on-line quality control activities, with a
    primary focus on monitoring the on-line production processes to insure specification,
    customer, and regulatory requirements are met.
  • Assigning tasks to the 2nd shift crew when there are changes to the production line and personnel attendance.
  • Communicating with the USDA inspector.
• This position must assimilate a basic understanding of several different functions and serve as
  Cross-functional Support for other Quality Team activities, including covering for
  vacations, sick leave, and other absences on any shift.
• The QA Crew Leaders must exhibit accuracy and precision in assigned duties as this is crucial
  to meeting Regulatory and Customer requirements.
• Required: Must be able to speak, read & write English; must be able to speak &
  understand Spanish
• Must be able to work weekends
• Must have some food-related experience
• Must have basic math skills & basic computer skills in MS Word, Excel, and Outlook.
