Title: Crew Leader – PM

Crew Leader
Leaders are in charge of overseeing the operations of their lines or areas. Leaders are expected to lead by example and have a great and productive relationship with their crew. Also, leaders need to understand and be in sync with the management’s vision to create a successful team.
Responsibilities and Duties
- Must have good communication skills with some crew leader experience
- Basic Math Skills
- Must be flexible with work schedule
- Computer skills are a plus. Excel & MS Word
- Bilingual is a plus
- The crew leaders manage their lines and the employees on that line, ensuring breaks are taken on time.
- Ability to stand for up to 8 hours a day.
- Constantly communicates and receives verbal communication with other coworkers in a fast-paced environment.
- Moving on foot to accomplish tasks, particularly frequent movements from place to place within the unit. Typically bends, lifts, carries, reaches/extends arms and hands above shoulder height occasionally, or moves in a constantly changing environment.
- Oversee new worker training and ongoing training for all members of the crew
- Must be an active Taylor Farms employee or in the rollover process
- Must adhere to all HACCP and Food Safety policies, including Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP’s)
- Must comply with all policies regarding Employee Safety and Personal Protective Equipment (PPE)
Physical Requirements:
- Ability to work at least 40 hours per week, including weekends and holidays. Regular attendance and punctuality are essential to carrying out the duties of this position.
- Ability to lift or carry up to 50 lbs.
- Ability to work doing physical work in cold temperatures, occasionally on wet floors. Moving and pushing empty and loaded pallets with a pallet jack.
- Perform other duties as needed or directed by the supervisor or manager.
